A housing locator service which allows people to locate available housing that best fits their individual and family needs.

"The service can be accessed online 24 hours a day and is supported by a toll-free, bilingual call center M-F, 9-6 EST. Individuals can easily search for housing using a wide variety of search criteria with special mapping features and receive apartment listings that provide a multitude of important information about each unit. A one-stop informational mecca; this site provides plenty of useful information for displaced residents and returnees alike, including a contractor's guide, a "moving back home" checklist & guide, information about job resources and job training opportunities, education and childcare resources, and much more.

"LouisianaRebuilds.info was established to be a trusted, online destination for residents affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita by providing critical information for those who have returned home as well as those who are still displaced. This site helps Louisiana residents wherever they are get up-to-date information about what is happening in our city(s); understand what resources are available to help stabilize their lives; access critical recovery and rebuilding assistance and support; and have a voice in our community's developing future."


Unity Housing Link

A free resource for renters seeking affordable housing in the Greater New Orleans area, created by UNITY of Greater New Orleans in partnership with the Apartment Association of Greater New Orleans, with funding from HUD and the Keller Family Foundation.
 
Right now, only units that are being offered at 80% or below the current Fair Market Rent are being listed.  Landlords and property managers volunteer to list their properties.  Free registration is required to access available apartment listings.
